Our Newest Lovebirds

Thanks for the warm welcome. Here is a picture of our two newest Lovebirds. They are about 1 month old in this pic.

Oh they're so cute! We just got an 8 week old peach-faced which looks similar! Are they weaned in that picture, or did you finish hand-feeding them yourself?

Hi Jenny,

These two Lovebirds at the time the pic was taken were still being hand fed. We have three sets of proven breeders. So we breed all our Lovebirds and sell them to reputable pets stores around the area. We only deal with one or two stores that we trust to take care of them and will get them a good home. They were weaned about a week after this shot, but were starting to eat millet at the time this picture was taken. Do you have any pictures of your 8 week old?

So, you breed lovebirds? Just peach-faced or other kinds? Neat! Anyway, no, I don't have any pictures of my little eight week old. I took some the other day but the flash wasn't working like I thought it was, so none turned out well! I guess I'll have to try again!!

Oh the babys are so cute!! I thought about breeding at one time but didn't because there are way to many birds looking for good homes and I don't think I could give the babys up but thats just me
