Question betta acting different

Hello, this is my first post to this forum. I have just moved my year and a half old male betta's bowl to a warmer room for the winter. Today he started sitting under the leaves of his silk plant instead of on top of them. He has never done this before. Should I be worried? Does anyone have any insight into this?

Maybe the room is too warm or he is just adjusting to a change in temperature. If you look bettas up on the internet you can usually find what temperature is best for them. If it is too warm for you to feel comfortable then it is too warm for him (at least I would guess it would be even though he is in water the water will become as warm as the room). I don't know if this is much help, but I hope it helps a little.

Make sure its not to close to a window, the poor thing might be just trying to find shade, I had a nasty experience with putting a fishy to close to a window, becuase the water amplifies UV rays, and can even boil (One of my fish got boiled- it was so sad)
