Arrow Black Lab Lost Balance / 2 Min Episode

I Let My Dog Out And When It Was Time For Him To Come In - He Started To Come Up Steps (5-6) And His Back Legs Went From Under Him And He Had A Hard Time Getting Up. It Lasted For 2 Min Or So , But His Eyes Also Looked Confused And His Back Was Arched And Looked Very Tense .
I Dont Know If He Got Into Something Or If He Wasnt Getting Oxygen So I Finger Swooped His Mouth And All Was Ok...
After This He Was Fine. Im Taking Him In Today For Test But Want To Know If Anyone Knew Anything In Ref. To This

My Dog Is My Son / Best Friend And It Scared Me - Please Help

Kurt,

You are doing the right thing by taking your baby to the vet. It sounds like he had some kind of seizure which could be caused by any number of things - even an ear infection.

Let us know how he's doing!!

I most certainly will, Thank you much for taking the time to read this and to give me your opinion . Im 30 no kids (well that are human )-lol
My dog is honestly my best friend and hes always there for me through out everything . Im in Tampa and with all thoes hurricanes , we maned it out like troopers . I ran O.D. throught the rain , puddles etc.. being a black lab he cant stay out of the water. He used to ball up when it was bath time , now he thinks he did something good--lol

Dropped OD off last night and we will see, He's been in good spirits. Eating great , going to the restroom ETC...

How scary! I'm sure your vet will be able to shed some light on this. Did you have to leave him overnight?
