When I got the lovebirds, they came from 2 career people who spent no time with them. Consequently they are bonded to each other now, which is why I will only sell them together. I have spent the last 7 months trying to tame them but I think it's a lost cause. I can tell they are much happier being in the cage. I ,on the other hand love the interaction. Since they are happier being in the cage, I don't have to worry about anyone ignoring them or not letting them out. With the canary, I have a male canary and the only way he will sing is if he doesn't see her, so I put her in the computer room. There is alot of traffic in there but to get on the computer, not to talk with her. I feel she is neglected being in another room seperate from all the other birds. I feel real bad when I hear her and the male "talking" to each other and shes stuck in another room by herself. I am getting a Quaker Sat. and the girl selling her wants to buy the canary. Shes got all kinds of birds so I know she'll be going to a good home and thats the most important thing to me.
