People , i need your help

My name is marry and i'm 12 y.o girl from NY.

I have a research that i need to do for my school about pets and i though maybe someone here can help me.

I'm looking for a resource about pets in this case in general which we have in our wonderful world (or at least in out country).

I need few things like :

1. how many pets owner there are?
2. how much you spend on your pet in avg in a month/year.
3. how much the industry of pets is making every year?

and many more. if someone can help me, please .....

Every pet is different, you cannot intelligently classify a bird in the same category as a mouse, dog, Sugar Gliders, snake, or cat. some of those questions you ask no one would have the answer to, like monthly costs?
Can you be more specific? You couldn't possibly have that as a topic and ask non-specified questions...

In our family alone my husband and I have 7 birds and a cat. One of our daughters and her husband have 5 birds a hermit crab, a water turtle, a really cute puppy called Pongo. Our daughter who lives away has a Yorkie called Harley. Our son lives away too and he has a bird he calls Jessie. So there are 4 different households who own pets.

2. how much you spend on your pet in avg in a month/year.
We spend about $40.00 a week so an average month would be $160.00. I can not say how much our children spend.
3. how much the industry of pets is making every year?
and many more. if someone can help me, please .....
I have no idea how much the companys profit that make our bird supplies but I am sure it is a LOT...hehe

I forgot to tell you what kind of birds I have. I have a Timneh grey named Dexter. A canary named Harley. A Quaker named Oliver. Three Cockatiels...Peanuts, Myrtle and Spanky. A Green Cheek Conure we call Louie. Our cat is 12 years old and we call her Frankie. Good Luck.....Judy
