So mad!!!

Well. Remember that thread I made awhile back, that I wasn't going to move Iris with me because my ex was going to keep her and get her spayed?

Well, idiotface missed her appointment and never got her done, and I doubt he ever will.

My sister is moving to the city to live with me, she's moving into a bedroom upstairs and we're going to get our poop in a pile and get our own place with just the two of us, and I'm going to go get Iris.

The place I'm living in won't allow another cat. That would make the total one cat upstairs, two cats and two dogs downstairs, and they're not into that. Although I did sweet-talk one of the roommates who's in charge and I think he's thinking about letting me bring her, lol.

I feel so, so bad. I never shoulda left her there in the first place, but then I would have had to leave my kitten, and who knows if she woulda gotten spayed either.

The only way to ensure both get done is if I have them, take them and pay for it myself!

Bah.

Men.

The only thing you can depend on them for is keeping a chair warm, the batteries up to date in the remote, and the tv in working condition.

Shelter dogs aren't broken, they've simply experienced more life. If they were human, you would call them wise. They would be the one's with tales to tell, and stories to write. The one's dealt a bad hand and responded with courage. Do not pity a shelter dog, adopt one.

Yeah, I was afraid of that. Sorry you had to find out the hard way.

Hopefully you'll be able to get her soon!

Could you not get her spayed yourself but leave her with him? Still work on getting her at yours too, but then at least you're not risking her getting pregnant in the meantime.

They keep the seat warm, you're right, but they never get up off it so that we can enjoy the warmth!!

Good luck getting a place with your sister. It sounds like the ideal set up Madison, plus you get Iris eventually too!

I just feel so bad! I hope hope hope no toms come around before I get her. Frick.

I have considered spaying her while she was there and leaving her until I can bring her, but then I think of the healing process and how she lives outside and how no one would be checking her stitches and whatnot to make sure everything was okay...I mean, what if I spayed her and she died of some kind of complication/infection that could be avoided if I had her inside after her spay? I'd feel terrible-er.

Right now it's a matter of deciding what's best (plus my financial situation is kinda tight for the time being, new job, just moved, etc) for her and acting accordingly.

Blah. What do to?

Would you be allowed to bring her there, temporary, just while she healed? Although it would be a mess around for her, she wouldn't know whether she was coming or going.

You make good points. I think if I brought here there temporarily I would never be able to bring her back!

She must miss the dogs terribly. They were such good buds.

By the way, I changed Myri's name to Deia, pronounced "Deeya" which is Italian apparently for Goddess. It's supposed to be spelt Dia but it reminds me too much of Princess Di (nothing against her but you know).
