Sorry to hear that your bearded dragon is doing that. We have so many members here so hopefully someone will be able to answer your question or give you advice on what to do. I don't have a bearded dragon and I don't know what their temperaments are like so I can't help you. Sorry.

Hi vetboy and welcome

How old is your Bearded Dragon?... has it tried to bite you?. They use this tactic as a defense mechanism to try to scare you sometimes. Try to gently handle it more so it gets used to you and it knows you wont harm it. There's books you could also read that may help you understand more about them. Good luck!!

Gosh vetboy, I dont know what could be making him do this. Maybe you could go to the library or book store and read some books on Bearded Dragons.. it may explain why he's behaving this way.

Maybe you can go to http://forums.kingsnake.com/forum.php?catid=43 and post a message there. I've used that forum before when we had questions about our sudan-plated lizard. Good luck and I hope you get some answers to your questions.

Hello all lizard lovers

If you own a bearded dragon or an iguana, or are thinking about owning one, then please check out the following websites and inform yourself about their proper care.
www.beautifuldragons.com; www.beardeddragons.co.za; www.greenigsociety.org

Kind regards
Lesley
