Please help my puppy is really sick! :(

We have a 6 month old border collie, he has had all his shots. We just moved to a new home with a backyard where he spends most of his day. 2 days ago he started vomiting and has had major diarrhea....please help!

I'm sorry your puppy is ill, you must be so worried. Perhaps he ate something poisonous/toxic.

It sounds like you'd better bring him to the vet. he could get dehydrated pretty quickly with all that vomiting and diarrhea.

Oh yes!!! Please do take him immediatly.... it could even be Parvo and you can save them after they get it but timing is very crucial.... the same with any poisoning or toxic waste. When our oldest daughter was home she had a pup she called "Beagsly" and he went down to the creek and drank some water and he got sick in a hurry... he was about 4-5 months old then. Took him straight to the vet and it was "phosphoric poisoning" in laymens terms mean some farmer dumped his chemical truck in the creek when he was done with it. GRRRRRR..... they saved him but timeing is very very important
Please keep us updated on how this goes.....

Hi everyone, thank you for your tips and support. Pirate's doing great! as a matter of fact when i got home he was already feeling better, and fed him plain chicken, rice and yogurt and he slept through the night like a baby. Phew! i'm glad this was nothing serious cause i was freaking out! thank you so much for all your concerns.

Thank you for updating us. I'm so glad to hear the good news.

if you haven't already, you might want to go over your yard with fine tooth comb and check for anything that may be poisonous or toxic to him that he could be chewing on or eating.

If your fence is painted, I would advise you to have a sample of the paint checked for lead.
