Budgie questions

An update on Bug the Budgie and a few questions. Bug took his last dose of perscribed medication (slight resp. infection) He is still sneezing once in awhile. Just little( chooos) should I still be worried? Also now that I don't need to force him out of the safty of his cage, how should I continue working with him? Iv'e gotten him to sit on my finger after meds. but I feel wrong about forcing him out of his cage. I leave the door open when im in the room but it seems to unnerve him. I have a feeling that he won't be comming out on his own for quite some time. How did you guys do it?

I think if you just leave him alone to get accustomed to everything and sit by his cage and talk and give treats that eventually he will not be so afraid and will look forward to seeing you and wanting to come out for you! Good luck!
