Hope my youngest dog will be one of the contestant, he is cute but he has no talent unfortunately...He loves to sleep and play with our floor mat...That is his daily routine... He knows some common tricks but that is not counted most of dogs can do that...

Its no big deal and I probably aren't interested in entering your contest but I can tell you about my Princess here. She is now 8 years old, she looks like a scrub brush because of her wire hair. She from what I can tell is a blacklab wirehimer German griffon terrior mix.
She is a Walmart special. When I laid eyes on her I said to my husband, honey I want that puppy. We spent a little over an hour in the store shopping for stuff for her. she was either 6 or 8 weeks old. we got her not only as a companion pet, but to teach her 'amature style to help me because of some old permanent injuries I sustained in a car accident and my health was slipping so through video's, research on the internet, and pet smart obidence training we taught her to bring my cane, keys, purse to me.
Since then we've learned Princess knows much much more. She can open the fridge if a towel is tied to the handle and you tell her pull. She just hasn't figured out the sandwhiches are not hers.
Princess brings her food bowls to me, picks up sissy Ebony's leash and tries to take her for a walk for me...
She likes helping me up the stairs when I let her and before I moved she'd drag a laundry basket for me as well.
She is a cell phone snitch! When we take her for car rides and forget and leave our cell phones in the car she takes the phone to her seat. Princess also knows to come to me or my husband and stay should the fire alarm go off or she hears us go thunk somewhere, and since Ebony does not see well after pitching a ball for Ebony she finds the ball for Ebony.
Princess sadly is not a dog for children to play with. If she is investigating and you stop or startle her she has a tendency to snap and she does gaurd her her food.
I hoped to teach her so well that she would even be suitable as a seeing eye dog and in many respects she's there, I just lacked the knowledge to complete the intensive extra training that would require, and because we have a dear friend with a parapalygic son we kind of want them to adopt Princess should something tragic happen to us because we know she'd help this kid out alot.
the newspaper? forget it! its hers. She starts to bring it, but she drops it in the driveway and the papers go every which way.
She was recently a cell phone queen a story waiting to happen i think I made a thread on it in the dog thread a long time ago.
even though she's very talented, what dogs that are actual service dogs aren't?
We just hope we have her a very long time, but if you should ever like to at least meet princess, us and our family of 8 pet parrots just say so.
good luck finding the right candidate for yoiur program.

I do not believe I've posted any pictures but I'll have to search my files. Once I do I'll hope I can upload them. This site for some reason always tells me the picture is to big and I don't know how to resize, but give me a few minutes and I'll try. Happy to show her off any day.

Hope this picture is sufficient that Diane graciously posted for me. This is my most favorite picture of Princess.
She truly has a mind of her own. She chooses when to mind and when not to and if she can avoid looking you straight in the face she will because she knows you'll tell her to do something that she does not want to do.
but she is one of the most awsome dogs on the planet.
I found also another great quality in her. If I can't find someone or something I ask her to find it and she noses around until she finds it and wages her tail happily so I do my best to reward her.
lately it's been find my big bird cuz he's a floor walker.
they kissed each other this morning beak to muzzle.
she does everything she can to protect this new angel for us.

Lynn that is wonderful how Princess protects Neeko and will find Neeko for you! Our cat, April, will do the same for us whenever one of our smaller birds flies somewhere in the house. Gosh now that I think about it, one time Einstein, the GCC, flew off hubby's shoulder when he was outside. Einny flew off into the green weeds and it was impossible to see him and he was quiet so an not to attract predators. The cat came from someplace and just went over and stood about 2 feet from him so we'd know she didn't plan on having him for lunch and lifted her one paw kind of like a hunting dog would do. It was amazing!
It is wonderful to watch a relationship like that between animals.

well if you don't she probably just didn't get her opportunity to snitch another cell phone to call 911.
I haven't figured that one out yet is if she's trying to call us when we go in the shops to take her with us or if she's dialing 911 to tell on us for making her stay in the car.
Princess look you in the eye?
Not if she can help it.
I'm sure cuz then she knows she has to do what she's told and clearly has a mind of her own and doesn't want to.
Wouldn't give her up for anything, nor the rest of my pets either.
