Angry Mother

This is my female, Pretty. She's not happy about the camera hovering over her nest.

What a beautiful little mama. She looks so protective.

I am really enjoying these photos showing her progress.

Thanks.

What a good mother Pretty is being to her babies. I still find it incredible how well these creatures communicate their feelings to us. How many babies have hatched at this point?

That picture looks like she is smiling and posing for the camera. Good luck.

I'm expecting the babies to start hatching in 4-5 days. I'll have pictures up as soon as they start hatching. The forth egg doesn't seem to be fertile, so I'm only expecting 3. The oldest egg is almost completely taken up inside now. You can't really see threw it anymore with the flashlight, and it's getting alot heavier too. Maybe I'll get pictures up later of the eggs over the light. It won't be for a few hours though, because the digital camera isn't here right now. Hayley looks like she's getting bored of watching on the computer, so I gonna go play with her now. I'll be back in a while.
