How long to keep wet food?

I was wondering, once a can of food has been opened, properly stored and refrigerated, how long before it needs to be thrown out? I've heard anywhere from 1-3 days and want to be sure.

Even refridgerated, I never keep wet food more than 3 days. It can spoil and make a cat ill just like our food.

I only keep Skeeter's wet food in the frig 2 days. I only buy the small cans so it doesn't go to waste. It's a good solution if you have a lot of leftovers in the frig.

I use the can until it is gone. I know that is over 3 days. Maybe 4 or 5? I buy the larger can for my dog and I know they have a smaller can you can buy. But I have no problem eating cooked chicken for that long either.

I wouldn't stress too much about it. But I would say for me 7 days would be too long.

It should say on the can of pet food. I know I read my can of puppy food and it says refridgerate up to 3 days. Not sure if that is standard or not, but your brand of food should say as well.
