7 week old Beagle

Hi, I am new to the site and a new dog owner. We have a Beagle who is 7weeks old. We noticed tonight that her stomach got really pink and her eyes as well. She just wants to lay around. This is really scary. Not sure what to do from here? Any advice would be good. Thanks J:

First off let me welcome you to Petlovers.com sabillion

As far as your puppy, none of the things you mentioned sounds right and I suggest you take him to a vet to get a check up. 7 weeks is awfully young to be taken from his mother but I am assuming he is eating good on whatever you are feeding him. That is about the only way you can know for sure what is happening with your new furbaby. And a good wellness check would not be a bad idea anyway. Good luck and again, welcome to Petlovers!

Ditto going to the Vet. Also, with a pup that young, it may not have learned bite inhibition so you might want to look into how to train that after you find out what's wrong with it.

Is this puppy away from the mother? Have you recently vaccinated her? Has she been in the trash or eaten something she shouldn't have? Did you give her any people food or treats beforehand?

Any lethargy in a puppy that young can at times be fatal. Please take your puppy to the vet...

Welcome to PetLovers! I agree with everyone else that you should take him to the vet. I hope that everything turns out ok. Best of luck to you.
