Cool Mature Cat Looking For Nice Home

Hi - I'm Krista and have never posted before. We have a cat that has some special needs, and we are looking for an approved home for him.
Mittens is approx. 6-7 years old and was a rescue from a local pet adoption. He has 3 legs (is missing the left hind leg - we do not know what happened as we adopted him this way) and has 7 toes on each foot! He is not declawed but he can never go outside because of his missing leg. We have had him for about 5 years but he does not do well with other animals - he is very stressed out and nervous, and has to be fed seperately because he will not stand up for himself. He would do very well as an only kitty or with another cat who is VERY laid back - he gets along very well with our nurturing and laid back cat, Lucky, who was also a rescue, but not with the others. He should not be around dogs, either. He is timid at first but very friendly once he has been around a person and LOVES to be held. He does not bite or scratch people, he is not a mean cat. He gives "love bites" and licks when you are petting him. He is an orange tiger domestic long hair. We always thought Mittens would do well with an older couple or an older person due to the reduced noise levels as loud noises scare him. Mittens will be sold for $15 to the right home and right person. He is located in the Lansing, MI area. If you are interested, please let me know! We would really like to do what is best for this wonderful boy. We will miss him, but we want him to have a happy, low stress life more than anything. Thank you!
