looking for small dog

i am looking for a small dog or puppy that stays small ,dont care if its mix breed as long as it stays small. i live in north central illinois can any one help.

May I suggest calling around your local Animal Shelters or Humane Societies. There are TONS and TONS of rescue dogs that would fit your criteria, I am sure.

Or call any breed rescue! Pick a small breed and call. Many of the dogs are there there through no fault of their own and are just waiting for a forever home to love them. Call the AKC, or the local shelter should have numbers for rescues.

I have a CKC registered Jack Russell up for adoption. He is 1 year old and housebrokenand kennel trained. He weighs approx. 10 lbs.

You said that you were looking for a small puppy that does not get very big. Well I have a 12 week old Min. Dachshund. He will only get up to 9lbs. He is very lovable, and playful. He has been introduced to children and other dogs, and he loves both. If you would like to know more about him feel free to get back to me.
