Patagonian conure

I had never really thought about owning a conure before I got my birdtalk today and read about the patagonian conure they sound like wonderful birds. I thought I'd post a pic as well

Good Morning Birdgirl,

I love our green cheek conure and he sure has personality. I think if I allowed myself to have "favorites" that our green cheek would be the one. Maybe that is because he is the begining of our flock.

The conure you posted above sure is beautiful! There are just so many types and varieties of Parrots - it is hard to fathom.

Are the Patagonian's the largest of the conures. How readily available are they in the US ? I looked on the internet and couldn't get much info.

I think they are the biggest they are 18" long I have seen them in many pet stores so I guess they are pretty common

A tip on finding things on the net. Sometimes people spell things wrong when posting their sites, so if you cannot find what you are looking for just misspell the word and you will come up with something.
