I absolutely LOVE your artwork! I used to have an iggy as well so like Gail I especially fell in love with that one...soo adorable. How many hours did it take you to complete it? I tried some parrots in scratchboard the other day and couldn't believe how long it took. Well keep up all the great work!

Thank you Everyone!
Jenny: Thank you, That Iggy took me a few days because I took my time on it. But, yeah, scratchboard is very time consuming, I can only imagine how long parrots would take though, because of all the detail the feathers need, but I bet it came out good?!
Redstorm: Thank you! What color is your IG?
Crazeemama: Thank you! I just found this quote a couple days ago too.
Talk to you all later!

Oh Boy talking about my iggy makes me happyyyyyyyy! LOL. He is black and a very little white on his front paw and under his chin. I love him so.oh also he's grey. When I got him they said he might have been 2 or 3, now I have had him since 99 when I closed my store. I bet he is a little older then they told me. Like 8. Cute baby of mine.

Thank you Teri and Squawk!
Hmmm...a parrot does sound like fun because of all the color.....I have a guy who is going to open a fish store here in town where I live and he wants me top paint some tropical fish for him. So, I can't wait till he tells me what kind of fish because I want to get started already,Lol.
Onece I get some more canvas I'll give a parrot a try and then post it so you can see how it comes out
Talk to you all later! Bye!

Good luck with the fish!. That would be great if he would let you hang portraits in his store to sell... people who own fish usually own other pets to!. Happy fishing

Have you thought about making business cards and seeing if any vets will display them? An artist came into the clinic I volunteer at the other day and my vet said she could leave some cards there, and in return the lady said she'd give my vet around 15% of the profits she made from any customers who said that they heard about her through the vet clinic. Sounds reasonable to me. I'm excited to see how the parrot turns out, and good luck on the fish! I'm sure it'll turn out beautiful.
