Yesterday I went to visit a friend with Tweety. She has a mini pincher. Her dog was terrified of the bird. He stayed at least 15 feet away the whole time. He had never seen a bird before.

And thank goodness for that JSimko, because Tweety may have been a tasty little afternoon snack for the mini pincher.

No, because she never leaves my shoulder. She is so well behaved that nothing spooks her.

To Stacy:

Here is a picture of Tweety, Jason's little parakeet.

Now you can see why your Snowball reminded me so much of our Tweety.

You'd be suprised how smart budgies can be! They can be extremely tame and taken places, like JSimko does with his...of course, you'd want the wings clipped then...

Actually Tweety is not happy being in a cage when traveling. Instead I wear a shirt with a pocket and she just sits in the pocket until we arrive at our destination. I have tried keeping her in a cage and she does not stop yelling. She really enjoys going places. Tweety is quite a social bird.
