Thanks everyone....

...I am still working on Budgie pics.....am recruiting my hubby with his digital camera. Hopefully soon.

Jsimko,

yes, the budgies are very tame and lovable. They mainly like to play with each other, but when we get each one alone, they love the human interaction.

P.S. My avatar is of a blue headed pionus. I couldn't find an image of a maximillian pionus. Isn't the blue headed one beautiful though.

Saw pictures

Hi,

Saw the pics, they are beautiful! The Maximillian resembles our conure. I couldn't tell from picture - does he have any blue coloring at all?

Diane...... thanks. Marcel has mostly olive green feathering on his body, with copper and green on his wings. Black and green head. His tail is vibrant with teal, blue, and red. Also, when in the natural light, his feathers appear irridencent. He doesn't photograph beautifully, but he truly is in person.

Gail....thanks also. I am working on getting my budgies to pose. The are so jumpy. I will include them soon.
