Update on Cole.

He went home on Saturday afternoon. I called my sister after he was there for a couple of hours. She said she let him out of the carrier, and he cruised around.

And went straight for his food bowl. I don't think he'd eaten a thing at my house. She also said he used his litter box and then he went and found a quiet place for a nap.

We should have lab results this week from the weird stones the dr. pulled out.

robvball is on a distinguished road
Whatever happened with the poor baby? I know it's way past the time it happened, but my poor Oliver just had a cystotomy on Saturday. I brought him home Monday. He's eating and drinking fine and on pain meds, however, he is still having limited amounts of pee and it is bloody. I took him back to the vets on Tues because of this. The vet gently squeezed his bladder and a good amount of pee (although bloody) came out. Vet said he is likely just still straining due to the pain of the surgery and the catheter, and the bladder being more sensitive due to the incission.

Im worried he's going to block again. Ugh U just want the poor guy to have a good pee and stop living in the litter box. PU surgery may be necessary in the future, but why isnt he peeing right now after the cystotomy?
