Birds don't talk!

Despite what people think, oh I'll get a parrot and expect it to automatically start talking, you are in for disappointment!

1. You have to teach a parrot how to talk, use shoket phrases.

2. It can take years!

3. fYour bird may never talk, never feel the need to, or for other varied cathireasons. My Anna say Ok, Mommy for the first 2 years she lived with me. It's been years since and she owns 15 words

So make up your mind if you want companionship and can forgo the I want the bird to talk, if you can't I suggest you pass up the real parrots and find one in the toy section with a recorder.

Far far too many parrots lose homes because humans are disappointed, or come to fear these feathered angels.

I bought a mayna bird that has been taught already so that I won't have to worry about teaching it how to talk.

Some are fortunate, some unfortunately don't do their homework, I confess I didn't do mine when I rescued Kiwi Anna, "Anna bird, " But I love the companionship

I don't even want to count how many families send a bird packing once they buy and find out it doesn't talk because it would be a nightmare........

Mina's may or may not talk however I was not specifying MINA BIRDS as for onhee well known fact is that mina's are known to be incredible talkers, but then again Ithere are some that won't. However I was speaking as scross all breeds and of every size. asle said Kiwi Anna my Anna bird a nanday says very littls e, and the first two year it w, as ok and mommy some don't even own that so no I wasn't talking about Mina's specifcally. Other birds are purchased and pitched because they don't talk.
