Ways to Fundraise

Hi everyone! I was wondering if the petlovers on this forum have found good ways to raise funds for good pet charities online? I ran across a website that lets you take surveys in exchange for donations to pet charities. I thought that was a really interesting idea so I wanted to see if anyone else has seen similar things?

I haven't seen the survey idea, but if they pay and it works, then go for it! I conduct fundraisers for several of our local rescue groups, but to be honest they are most successful if they can be combined with home parties or personal shops, because items sell better when people can see them (home parties for pet owners is my fun job...and some day will be my full-time gig).

Shopping portals can work online if marketed correctly. Other than that, most of my ideas are "in person" type things. I'll keep thinking!

Maybe do something along the lines of a bake sale. I always liked it more than other fundraisers because you don't have to wait for something to be delivered to you in a few days, and everyone likes home baked goods.

I'm not sure about any pet-specific charities, but there is a site called indigogo that let's you campaign for a reason, such as pets. I'm not sure what the requirements are, but it's worth looking into. Most people are pretty sympathetic when it comes to pets so I'm guessing you'll find a lot of willing people. Good luck!
