CrackersMom is on a distinguished road
Very sad day :(

Our new baby Alexandrian, who has been a little under the weather the past couple days, decided to see what the world was all about and flew out the door. We have desperately been looking for him. We did see him the day he got out and when we attempted to get him out of the tree he flew some more and we lost sight of where he landed. I am praying to God he comes home. Although I am very doubtful we will ever see him again, I am still hopeful and praying. We put his cage outside so IF he is still in the area he hopefully will see him and come home! We don't live in a busy section and the neighbors are real friendly. We are hoping that he is still around and will be seen! He is only 3 1/2 months old...born on March 7th Please ya'll pray for us and pray for Buddy!

Aw, I'm so sorry. My bird got out of the house one time, years ago. We put posters up and put an announcement on the local radio station. Luckily the person who found her, four days later - ten miles away from home - happened to contact the same radio station too, so they passed our details on to him, and he was kind enough to bring her back home to us.

There is always hope.

Just get the word out there that he is missing - tell anyone and everyone, and tell them to tell everyone and anyone too. The more eyes looking out for him the better. And contact all your local rescues and keep calling them regularly to see if he's been handed in to them.

My fingers are crossed for you and Buddy. I hope you get him back safe and sound very soon. x

Thank you so much for your encouraging words. Both me and my hubby posted on our facebook pages. We also printed out a bunch of flyers with a pic of him and any information we thought might help. Never thought about the radio station..so THANK YOU for that idea! We sure hope we can find him!
