Thanks Molly. I had to laugh at your wonder....LOL. I think they do get a brain freeze. Bu was lightening lips, but she would occasionally stop in mid-slurp. I just assumed she would get one, so I would give her a zip of water. She rarely let Magnum get 3 licks in before she was back at it.

Alix is on a distinguished road
They do sell dog ice cream at Wal-mart & safeway. Its called Frosty Paws and is made by Dreyer's icecream. Dogs love it and it is much better for them to digest. Get your dog his own icecream. They LOVE it and it is not bad for them.

All of our animals know what ice cream is. Everyone (including the cat) gets their licks. Sometimes I skip ice cream because it is just to much serving everyone. LOL

You're welcome Georgia! It really is funny though-- our cat who never ever mouched has done a total 90^ turn around and is such a mouch. She sees the birds eating what we have for dinner and she has made it very clear that if the birds can have people food then why can't she?!!

Don't mention the I/C word as now she has to have her very own little bowl with a small amount in there so she can eat along with everyone else. When she hears the spoon scrape the bottom of my dish she is right there hanging out on my arm letting me know that she must have the last licks from my bowl. She is 14 1/2 years old so I've decided that it is time she gets a little spoiling.
