cat is peeing out of 2 holes after perineal urethrostomy

As the title states, our cat had a perineal urethrostomy last week and we just discovered that he is litterly peeing out of 2 seperate holes now! We called the vet that did the surgery and they didn't seem to concerned but asked us to bring the cat in tomorrow morning.
Should we concerned that the surgery wasn't done correctly?
I have taken a video of this but don't know where to upload it for people to view it.

Hello and welcome to pet lovers. Who did you speak to when you called the vet? I mean when you say "they" didn't seem concerned. Remember that the person who answers the phone is a receptionist, and while they do have an important job, giving medical advice on your pet is NOT one of them.

Get your boy back to the vet right away. I never heard of this happening with PU, but that doens't mean it can't.

And please let us know what you find out, and how your boy is doing. I hope you have him on a canned diet, now, forever?

To share a video you first have to upload it to a site like photobucket or youtube. Then you can post the link to the video here, and people can click on the link to view the video.

We recently had a Golden Retriever at work who had a urethrostomy done, and he ended up...using both holes when he was done. It's not common, but it's ok. The important thing is that he's peeing.

You can always talk to your vet about it too, I would definitely let them know it's happening, just in case.
