What is wrong with my Cockatiel?
Hi, first time posting here and am very very worried about my 7 month old female cockatiel. Loki started showing signs that something wasn't right this afternoon. All she wanted to do was sleep. Later on in the evening we noticed she was walking as if she was "drunk". We took her to the vet and she did a quick check on her. Told us that if we could get her to drink or eat anything to just watch her overnight and if she doesn't improve to bring her back in the morning. So, here I am in Georgia at 5:30 in the morning asking questions. We put Loki in her cage, and covered it. I have a heater going in the room so she can stay warm. Her symptoms are this: no food or water, staggering, hard time standing on a perch, lifting left foot, doodoo on her bum (i wiped some off already with a warm wet rag), and squealing quietly when it seems like she's trying to doodoo, she also has been chewing at her bum (I'm guessing to try n clean it) PLEASE someone, anyone help me with my baby girl! I can't stop crying because I am so afraid we are going to lose her!
