A few good beginner fish resources.

I have a African cichlid tank and it's one of the best fishes that you can have, they are really fun.

If by chance they'res someone here who wants to set up a tropical fish aquarium or a cichlid aquarium (I suggest cichlids, but if you don't have much time, then go with tropical fish) here are 2 really good places to read, it has all the stuff the first timer needs.

I think that aquarium keeping is a very underrated hobby, it's very relaxing and "zen" like when you sit and drink your morning tea and watches your fish swim in their little glass habitat.

I totally forgot about this forum! It's been so long since I was here just thought I'd revive my old stuff and see what's going on in the world.

Since I last mentioned my sites, I've added several new pages. I have experienced a total fish loss thanks to a shorted out heater so I bought the Eheim version and it's been very good to me so far (those Germans make great stuff!)

I added new cichlids, if you look on the species list, all of those pictures are from my tank and thanks to Photoshop I did a little crop work.

Anyway, take a peek if you're interested in the aquarium hobby, hopefully you will find information you find useful.

My Oscar is less zen. He acts like a dog--comes to greet you and make faces at the glass when you come in, or walk past, and begs for food, lol.
