Service dogs

Do not forget, respect, honor the rights of dogs that are , 'service dogs," they all have rights to be in grocery stores, and a half a dozen other places because their owner has been declared it medically necessary. Honor them as a hole, and remember solders that fought in Iraq and have returned with a serious need, and remember it's not your right to question their doctor and why. Just be appreciativie that the soldier served and did the duty well asked of them.
If you read Until Tuesday you will see how clearly Tuesday-the service dog takes care of a badly injured soldier, and that they are repeatedly descriminated against too often

Show your support,'to our military veterans, our service dogs, and our caniane war hero's

It's amazing what all dogs can do, from dogs who detect blood sugar drops, to dogs who help children who have seizures or other medical or physical disabilities.....to dogs who take down bad guys in the street....to dogs who are therapy dogs that go into children hospitals to see kids who are seriously ill and won't live even a few more years.

Here is a video (sorry about the quality of the sound, I didn't upload it) of a police k9 visiting children at one of the children's hospital in Saint Paul, MN.

They are surely great part of the military team not only in sniffing, etc. but on stress they relieved from soldiers.

Dogs have no idea of hate. They don't know the word discrimination. We think we are better than animals. Sometimes I wish more people would behave like animals. Service dogs help people on a daily basis and with chores many of us take for granted.

Thanks for posting. I agree wholeheartedly with you. I met the coolest guy and his service dog a couple months ago at my local PetSmart. He adopted his dog from the local shelter just for a companion. The gentleman has seizures and he quickly learned that his dog could detect them and warn him before the seizure started. He was not trained to do this, he just does it. Got to love em!

And don't forget about the search dogs. They also provide an invaluable service.
