Google brought me to a page on this forum from Aug. 2010, about a kitten named Ilene. I was searching because I have a little 8-week-old foster kitten that has had persistent, greasy diarrhea, and a lot of the symptoms you describe match Ilene's. He's eating and drinking and even grooming himself but the food doesn't appear to be getting digested at all and as a result he's extremely thin. I won't bore you with the details, but it sounds like you were doing everything possible to save Ilene, and I was wondering what the outcome was. I deal with a lot of shelter vets who are not inclined to keep treating small kittens if they don't get better pretty quickly (a whole 'nother topic) but I am committed to trying to save this kitten if possible. If you have any advice about food or anything else it would be greatly appreciated. Plus I am just curious about what happend to Ilene.
