I have a six month old pug puppy. On three ocassions in the past two months she has thrown up then stumbled around a little and fallen over onto her side. Any ideas as to what might be wrong?

Hello Ashley and welcome :)
Has your puppy seen a Vet?. I would take it as soon as possible... that doesn't sound good. I have no idea what it could be, sorry I cant help you more.

I took Lola to the vet and he said that she looks and sounds great. She also had some bloodwork done that came back great as well. The vet said that she is probably throwing up becuase she eats anything and everything (rocks, worms, grass, carpet fuzz etc.). And he said she is getting faint after she throws up because her nose is so short that she's not getting enough oxygen to her brain while she's heaving. She is going to have surgery to open up her nose holes when she is spayed next month. The surgery should help a lot!:)

Oh poor puppy! I hope the surgery will go smoothly, and in the meantime maybe you can just watch Lola very carefully and make sure that she doesn't eat anything (and everything) that will make her heave and throw up. Atleast if you can prevent her from heaving, she won't be lacking oxygen in her brain and fainting. Good luck and let us know about the surgery.
