glaucoma?

Well, we picked up Captain Bly (my Boston Terrier) from the vets this afternoon and the prognosis is not good. The ulcerated cornea is not healing and the vet seems to think the reason is Glaucoma. We need to take her to a specialist and have the test done to make our next decision. Removal of the eye, due to the glaucoma, or $1,000 surgery to fix the ulceration if it's not glaucoma. I am at my wits end, we've had two vets recommend the glaucoma test and I'm scared to death to have it done. Either way, it's not going to be pretty. Thanks for listening and if anyone has any input, it would be appreciated.

I am so sorry that you and your baby are going through this :( . Sending lots of hugs and prayers that she gets the help she needs and will be on the mend soon. I have not heard of condition before so I am of no help there...just wanted to let you know that my thoughts are with you.
