Also I don't know who might remember me but I did some portrait for Squawks a while back of her beautiful birds :) I just forgot what name I was under then and have since changed all my info.
But, I thought I'd share this info for those who might possibly remember me :D

Noble is a cutie pie and reminds me so much of my brother's cross when she was a pup. Your cat.....what a hoot!! :D What is your cat's name? She/he is very pretty and looks to be like an experienced rider/navigator.... ;)

Lol, Noble does look likes shes driving :D They handled it fine Katy(the cat ;) ) Didn't mind it at night thats why she was out in that one pic. But, during the day she was either under a pillow in the back window of the truck or under the seat. The first time she was out during the day a big rig passed us and freaked her out.We also had a crate we would put her in when we were stopping and she got out at night in the hotle room. Noble on the other hand took it extremely well and loved to get out at the different rest stops and smell all the different smells.
Luckly it was only a two day drive. I'm happy we are settled in a apt now and Katy is back to normal. And man apt living sure does make you house break your Dog quickly. It's a good thing Noble is crate trained as well. And she loves her 3 walks a day and trips to the park. I can't wait to take her to the beach though. I think she'll have fun there.
Okay I've rambled enough,Lol. Talk to you all later. I'll probably start a Pet Portrait thread and share my pet portraits I've done over the year and a half. Take Care all and thank you for your nice comments.

What a cutie Noble is!!!! How does your cat like the new member of the family? Wow you are sure lucky that you found an apt that allows pets. What state are you re-locating to CA from? You just missed squawksx3 as she moved to Idaho a few months ago.

Katy really doesn't mind her as long as she stays away from her,Lol.
I moved from Texas and I miss it so much. It's too bad squawksx3 moved from Cali. I was thinking it would have been neat to go visit and meet the birds I painted and see the portraits again. Not to mention meeting squawks.
Oh well :(
I'm almost done with the portrait and I'll be posting more pics soon :D
Take Care all!

Oh yeah about being lucky about finding an apt that took pets. Yes, we were. No weight limit here but there was a breed restriction but luckly she's mixed even though both halves are resticted they don't seem to have a problem so far. We clean up after her outside and all that and she doesn't have an agressive bone in her body so I guess they make acceptions. I do hope to move in to a house with a yard so she can go out when ever she wants but the balcony seems to be an alright substitute for sun bathing. :D
Okay, I'll stop rambling now there's house work that needs to get done :p

HI KENDRA!!!!!!... its so good to hear from you again! :D . What part of CA did you move to?.... I leave the rat race and you move to it! LMBO. Your fur-kids are sooooo adorable.. Im so glad they made the trip ok. Ours made the move great but it was only 16 hrs not 2 days  . We added another bird since you did the portraits.. a Moluccan Cockatoo. Hows it going?.. are ya keeping busy?. I just want everyone to know Kendra is a very talented artist and I LOVE the 4 portraits she did of my parrots. They'll be treasured forever.
Welcome back.. I cant wait to see your portrait thread!!!!! :~)

Hello Jan!
Yep, I moved here because of my hubbies job...the Marines. We live in Vista though. I have yet to drive here...it's so scary, people drive crazy here.
Everything is fine and I just recently started to paint again.I'm in the process of touching up some of my portrait pics and I can't wait to share them.
Talk to you all later!

Sue your Rottie is so pretty!
I can't wait till Noble gets that big. I wish we cropped her tail but since she wasn't full Rottie I didn't see the point. You can't even tell thats she's mixed so I guess it wouldn't have made a difference if I did. I'm assuming at this age it would be too late though?! I get a kick out of everyone freaking out about seeing a Rottie with a tail,Lol.

ROFLMBO!!!!! and Vista isn't that bad! hahahaha... now you see part of the reason why I left. The only thing we need to watch out for when driving up here are the deer, moose and elk  . But who's in a hurry anymore.. not us :D .
I love your portraits and so glad you started painting again. I also have a rott mix and purebred rott.. both were rescues. My rott mix still has his tail and I love it that way... but people dont freak out about his tail, they freak out about how big he is... he probably weighs 150 lbs LOL.. and he's just a huge teddy bear afraid of his own shadow. The purebred rott(born with no tail) is the one you need to watch out for... she takes her territory very personal hehe.

I would have to say that I'm happy that you didn't crop his tail, I love rotties with tails...there is just something about them that makes it so...cute. Actually I like them with tail or not, I'm just not sure how I am on the cropping/docking issue.
