Hi all,
I have a friend who lives on a beef farm and owns 2 housecats, Meiko, and Chewy, and around 2 to 10 outdoor STRAY cats. The numbers are growing, and then she and her parents end up taking care of the kittens. Recently, her cat Tippy had her third litter(Tippy is about 3 or 4). I've tried to talk to her mom about spaying these cats because she forever is complaining about having to buy so much cat food for them, but she refuses saying "They aren't my cats!" But I think they are. If they stay there, eat there, breed there, and give birth there, they're yours. How can I convince her to spay and nuture(SP?) them? Also, she never took them to the vet, just Meiko and Chewy...
I feel sorry for the kittens, as they are doomed to be stray cats forever, unless someone makes them a house cat, which I know isn't easy.
Thanks,
Krista
