baby birds

I don't know how well the pic is going to be. But the baby birds in the nest have hatched. There is at least 3 of them. They were peaking over the edge of the nest today. I hope none of them fall out.

Princess, we have birds nesting at my work. They are in three places up in the soffit of the building. I have placed grass clippings under each nest just in case one falls out so it will land on the clippings instead of the hard ground. Last year, one did fall out, but I was able to place it back into the nest and it was successful. I use a new pair of garden gloves that are strictly for handling the babies and for no other purpose. ;)

Yes these are the barn swallows. They are growing so fast I am going to try and get another pic of them now. I think there is 5 in the nest. None of them have fallen out yet. But I put a card table on my patio and spread a couple table clothes on it...so at least they'll have a softer landing than the cement and they won't fall as far.
