I love this bird

I just got done playing with Lacey, and singing her songs, and finally letting her destroy that stuffed animal she always wanted to get a hold of, and wrestling with her, and watching her roll over so I don't tickle her wing pits. I felt in the mood to brag about what a great bird she is. What better way to do that than to make you all look at this incredibly beautiful bird. Who can't love that face. Everyone brags about their kids sometimes.

I am so glad to hear about Lacey. You hadn't said much about her since you had gotten her and I wondered about that. I love to see pictures of people's birds! So glad to get to see her again.

Just was looking at Lacey's pictures before going on and I just have to comment about her "smiling" in the first picture, she is just so beautiful. It looks like she is posing and smiling for you. The one where she is peeking at from under her toy is just so priceless.

Our B&G has the same laid back playful personality and I wonder if all B&G are like that. What do you think?

love the pics, is Lacey a B&G? or a Catalina? Hybrid? sometimes the flash can make their bellies orangish instead of gold. and her top side looks sea-green like a Miligold.

That is one beautiful and happy looking bird! Very nice pictures. Is Haley's cage next to Lacey's? Are they good friends by now?

In the first picture, if you look, that's Hayley's cage behind Lacey, so their cages are pretty close. They aren't really friends but they can be around each other without to many problems. No bird can touch any other bird's cage without there being trouble. Hayley gets along ok with Peanut, the green cheek. They'll touch beaks very gently. It's cute. As ridiculous as it sounds, Lacey is afraid of Peanut.
