Hi everyone. I'm so glad to have found a site for pet lovers, like me! I look forward to reading and sharing posts from pet lovers everywhere! I am the proud mommy of Lulu, a mini Schnauzer/terrier who will be two years old Nov. 21st, and is the light of my life. :)

Oh, how sweet Lulu sounds! And welcome to you. I don't have any dogs at the moment, unfortunately. But I do have a horse, 3 snakes, a couple of fish and a cockatiel named Kit. Do you have any other pets besides your dog? I'm sure we would all love to see pics! Have fun,

Hi! What a nice message. I do have a pic and will post it as soon as I figure out how to do so. LOL...As for any other pets, I share a neighborhood cat, Marshal, who was left here when his owners moved away. Marshal is loved and cared for by the 5 families that live on our road. :)

Tried to add a pic of Lulu, but was informed it was too big? Will work on getting one that will fit here. Lulu is black and silver, with typical schnauzer markings and look, even though she is part terrier, too. She has one 'lazy' ear...it doesn't raise up like normal. When I first brought her home, many people said I should name her Gizmo, as she looked like that little Gremlin, but the shelter had named her Lulu, and since she is a Lulu, it stuck! LOL... She weighs 10 pounds, soaking wet, and is at her full growth. Lulu has a box of toys that would be the envy of any kid, and she doesn't mind sharing them if a friend brings over their furry baby to visit. Her favorite activities are eating and playing with her toys. She sleeps with Mommy, and will act like she's going to attack anyone that approaches 'our' bed while I'm sleeping. I take her to the park for playtime, and her little body quivers with excitement at seeing the ducks and geese at the small lakes there. I could talk about Lulu forever, but will save some for later. :)

AWW how nice!!! Lulu sounds exciting and VERY happy!! I wish I had a dog, but I don't know that I would have time for it. I would want to give it the best life possible, and it sounds like Lulu is getting just that. Good job layla, take care.

ps- hope you get those pics working out, they are a pain!

Oh, Lulu sounds like such a sweetie! I also don't have any dogs at the moment, but I'm owned by six of the best birds in the world, a cat, a salamander and a lizard. Thanks for telling us all about your dog and I hope you can figure out how to post a pic of her!

Hiya Layla,

I am very familar with the notation that my pictures are too large. I shrank them down in PhotoShop. Do you have that program? Let us know if you have a program that can do that.
