Just snapped these two pics of the Beast and Rockie enjoying a beautiful spring day here in Virginny!

This has been driving me nuts. I am trying to figure out what alien or other character, from what movie, Rockie's ears remind me of???

You take great pics as always. :) As for the ears, the only thing that came to my mind first was, "He has papillon ears." See?

Great pictures Jo and Bullwinkle looks fully recovered there! What a nice mother's day gift to know he is OK.

The first character I thought of was "cousin it" - maybe because of Rockie's coloring or something.

We are having a sunny day here too thank goodness. The forecast was for rain and strong winds, so what a surprise to have only some wind and sun!!

Glad you're having a pretty day too Diane! I CANNOT get my lawnmower started. I even changed a sparkplug for the first time in my life (Yeah I can do it!) but it still won't start. Perfect day to mow...bummer.

I'm thinking the character was from one of the Star Wars movies but then again, maybe I'm all confused. Something, Somewhere had those kind of ears!! Cousin It was the same color but I don't think he even had ears did he? :eek: I LOVED the Adamms Family. It was one of my favorite shows when I was younger.

Jo your mower won't start because you are supposed to be having a relaxing weekend. So let it go. I used to have the same problem with starting a mower, until hubby showed me how to prime the carburator by taking that little square box thingy of and pouring a tiny bit of gas down in there. Worked wonders, but don't know how safe it was to do, so be very careful if you decide to try that.

Yes, I think there was a show one time on cousin it's ears and how he did have them but you couldn't see them. The way the hair hangs off Rockie's ears it made me think of cousin it. LOL Someone will be along soon and have a better idea of what character you are thinking of.

Great pics Jo!!! Wow, Rocky has one heck of a look on her face. I love her face and that expressive look. :D Bullwinkle is definitely kicking back and enjoying the sunshine. What sweetie pies!!

Okay, now for my guess.....Is it Gizmo from the movie Gremlins? :o

Oh Man!!! Magnum as soon as you said Gizmo I thought THAT'S IT!! then I went to the sites with pics. Gizmo has the tipped ears but no hair on them. Boy oh boy that was a good one though! Had me going.

Rockie absolutely HATES the camera (with or without flash) which is why most of the pics I have of her show her giving me the evil eye. I can only get a couple shots off and then she's Outta There! Bullwinkle could care less.

Diane, I did prime the carb, at first with some gas and then much later I used some small engine carb gum-out and quick start. Nada. I hate it that I cannot get it going. I want to be independent and be able to do things myself (sans a man - LOL!) but I am not that mechanically inclined. I am good with electronics and plumbing but not mechanics. I wish Bullwinkle would have learned some of these things so I wouldn't have to do EVERYTHING myself. :rolleyes:

Hah - I just asked Kenny, & he said Gizmo too. :p It wouldn't be Cousin It from Addams family, 'cause he had hair all over the place that you couldn't see his eyes. Of course, I can't look up pics that much, 'cause he's on an old-school 56k modem. ;)

I think my sister-in-law is RIGHT! My brother said ALF and while ALF is the same color as Rockie he doesn't have those ears. Here is what Pat said...

Nothing like soaking up the sun!! They look great. I also though of Alf - but I dont think his ears had the hair on.
