Sleeping with my puppies

Well, I can't sleep tonight, the baby is pretty active and keeping me awake. I have a queen size bed, and I don't know how my husband and I ever slept in this bed with the dogs. I tried to get a good pic of all 4 of them sleeping they take up half the bed, but its hard not waking them up and I was trying to stand on the bed looking down on them but was afraid of falling. Luckily hubby is out of town don't know where he would sleep. But Molly is the basset hound, then the love of my life Tonka and then the other love of my life Robin. Pippy is under the blankets of by Tonkas head. She peeked out probably because of the flash so I got a quick pic of her. Hope you like them.

Tonka's smiling! You'd better get a bigger boat (bed)! Bullwinkle and I sleep in a queen size and I barely have room. Back in my previous life as a married woman Bullwinkle would sleep between my ex and I on our king size and we hung on the edges all night. There has actually been two times where I ended up being pushed out and on the floor! He always starts out "small" all curled up but as the night goes he stretches out into his full beast form.

Oh how cute! I sleep with Abby who is not large but she's not small either and she takes up the whole bottom half of my bed and the Katie sleeps curled up in my belly and she always "starts out small and then stretches out to her full beast form" to quote JustJo. She's actually not that big a dog but when you have two dogs on a trundle that is hardly big enough for you then things are a little crammed. But sometimes Katie will jump up onto my sisters bed and give me more room, till she decides to come back down again. She can't ever make up her mind. Great pics princessnmi! That is so cute - one of these days Tonka will take up the bed all by herself - I don't think there would be space left for the others LOL.

I would opt to get an additional bed and let them have that one...forget swapping for a King... ;) Pippy looks like she is hoping none of them wake up and squish her.....lol. They all look comfy. :)

I keep telling my husband I'm just gonna buy another queen bed just like the one we have and then put them up right next to each other. I don't mind sharing my bed with my dogs but sleeping with another person just drives me crazy. I love when my husband goes out of town cause he tries to cuddle me EVERY nite and its too warm for that and I like the feeling of being able to move when I want. So if we have a 2 queens right next to each other I can sleep on one edge he can sleep on the other and the dogs can have the middle.
