Beatiful photos and cat(s). :)

Are those two separate cats? If so... they're a spitting image of eachother and you're twice blessed. ;)

Oh I love black cats in pairs like this, do they play with their resemblence?
I had a hubby once that had two black cat, and these girls would torment the other cats and it took the other cats a time to realize there were two of these monsters and that they seemed to tag team.

They're 1yr old in 4 days, yes they're a 'tag team', they sometimes remind me of the raptors in Jurassic Park, very funny how they keep each other on their paws ! Few more pix...

Gorgeous.. your cats are just too pretty. I absolutely love black cats, and I love the way you photograph them with the greenery, rather than in a house. It kind of brings out their colour.

How in the world do you tell the difference between the two of them?... lol

Lano
04-22-2005, 03:00 AM
Ooh I think I can tell between them :p, dunno if it's true or just for those pics. The insides of Carme's ears are more greyish while Io's look more pinky. It would be weird if we went around peering at their ears to tell who is who though :D.

Lano - funny you should mention ears ! They both had a bad allergic reaction last yr, all 4 ear tips started 'melting' away as if they were badly burnt, it was awful. Carme was worse, vet thought he was going to lose 1 whole tip, but they were treated and it cleared up after 2wks. Lab tests were clear, still don't know for sure what caused it. Carme has a scar and Io's fur hasn't yet grown back as thick, so you're right about him having slightly pinkier ears, it was also a sunny day. They're very healthy and have a great shine. Io's bigger than Carme, he's longer. Carme's the dinky crybaby. They talk a lot, they're 'part' Siamese and they both carry little bamboo canes everywhere ! They're nuts. It's their 1st birthday tomorrow.

Thanks very much for all your comments ! Just got a new puppy yesterday  I was so torn after losing Ganny, my Griffon. I didn't think I'd be able to have another dog, but I caved ...she's a 'pudding' Jack Russell, the kitz have accepted her already, she's lovely, very affectionate. Still deciding on her name, will post some pix once sorted !

A pudding Jack Russell? Does that translate into that she's hyper or something in the States? :p

creativz
04-26-2005, 12:52 PM
:) She's smaller than the 'Parson Jack Russell Terrier', not so feisty ! They're known as 'pudding Jacks' as they have shorter legs. She's a little pudding. :)

Got her yesterday, vaccinated at vet today, still haven't decided on her name, thinking maybe 'Izzy' - Ogden Nash 'Isabel' poems. She's a 'pudding' Jack Russell, 12wks on Fri', she keeps getting hiccups !

Aww! Hmm..you keep on calling her a "pudding" Jack Russell, so her name could be "Pudding" - just a suggestion. :D

OMG she's gorgeous! I love white Jacks. Those little paws, and that sweet face.. I couldn't have been able to resist her either. No name suggestions for now, but I'll tell you if I get any.

Oh she is a doll!! I think I would call her Angel because of her white coloring. I've never seen a white Jack before. The closest I have to a Jack is a sable and white Rat Terrier. Oh and your cats are completely beutiful. I love black cats! I want a black cat with bright blue eyes. I love the picture where Io is sticking his nose right into the camera. so so so so so CUTE! You have adorable cats and an adorable new addition. Congratulations on your new baby and a BIG HAPPY BIRTHDAY for your kitties!

She is an Angel, very feathery white.ilovemydogs - "I love the picture where Io is sticking his nose right into the camera."That's definitely a favourite pic of mine too.

Here's a couple more of Izzy, name just really suits her !

Upon closer inspection of the second photo I noticed next to Izzy's left leg there's an edge of brick that looks like a monkey's skull :D.

Well spotted ! It's a 'squeaky skull toy' that's had it's day, so we stuck it in garden amongst the stones. Fits ! :)
