Thanks, casegura. I just don't understand how someone can come in here, disrupt everything with lies and deceits. It's a truly childish thing to do for someone who I can almost garantee is not 10! I'm not going to stress myself over someone like that, just wanted to point out that if I had a child, they would not be staying up till 2am talking online. So, in other words, if you were trying to seriously get away with lying Shamu, you should have thought it out alittle bit better.

Emroul, Casegura: Don't get yourselves upset....if we all ignor Shamu's posts, he/she/it will most likely just vanish. There is an option under the control panel which allows you "ignor" certain posters.

No joke, I remember when this forum was Parrot.Com, everyone was great and caring for their animals and that all that mattered. Now, Casagura's right, this forum seem sto attract "jerks". It sucks :(

I think that way back when the Board changed to PetLovers.com, I remember the moderator made mention of advertising to a broader audience. The broader the advertising, the more undersirables this board will attract ..... that's why I suggest using the "Ignore" feature...it helps the situation by weeding out the post you chose not to see.

Emroul, don't get disgusted with the jerks, please stay I love to hear about your snakes, etc.

I agree. Birdgirl you are right! I was hoping the site I would come back to would be similar to the one that I was not able to post on. But as i can see this is a bit out of control. Everyone has to be accepting of eachother. Shamu this is a petlovers board so people can talk about birds. I am sorry about Cherry and hope that Cherry finds his way home.

I wish there was a way to mark these old posts as 'over and done with' deals. They're really misleading to people that are just arriving or getting back from a long hiatus of not being here. It would be nice to be able to label posts such as these as 'closed case files' or 'moved on to better things' or something.

LOL ... You guys gave me a good scare! When I opened this thread and started reading, my first thoughts were "OH NO, not again!". But then I realized that it's an old post. Whew! For a moment, I thought that the "fighting" has started all over again.

I know what you mean B -- about being able to mark old posts like these "Closed" or something of that nature. I had been gone for a few weeks (around June/July) and when I came back on and started reading, I was horribly shocked to read some of the posts. I couldn't believe it! Thank God, those people are gone!

Anyway, I think Mrs.Birdy is right that since the board has changed to "Petlovers", it is attracting a broader audience. I guess there's nothing we can do about who comes to the board and posts .... except for that "ignore" button. (By the way, just out of curiosity, where is the "ignore" button?)

You have to go into members. Look up the person's name who you want to ignore and click on them. Then you are taken to their profile. At the bottom of their profile there a place that says add user to buddy list and then next to it there is an add user to ignore list. Click on the ignore one.
