Found this dog listed on Petfinder - and would like to know if anyone out there would know who to write a letter to on behalf of this poor puppy.

Why why why why why do people buy or adopt pets just to neglet them like this poor Chip???????

Draper - I would start with the email link under Chip's picture to get more info. i certainly hope animal control will seize this man's other animals and get them away from him. he should be banned from ever owning an animal again!!! :mad:

This guy needs to feel what it is like to be starved, filled with worms, stricken with mange, overloaded with fleas, and Lord knows what else this poor baby has endured and may die from. :(

Thank you for expressing your concern about Chip. He is doing well
everything considered. Our vet wants to see Chip next week and recheck his
blood. He is eating well and he is cheerful, but he gets tired really,
really quickly. He wears a dog jacket to help him stay warm and he sits on
a heating pad most of the time. How can you help Chip?

FIRST: Write or Call Jane, the humane Officer at the Humane Society of
Greene Couty, 183 Jefferson, Waynesburg, PA, 15370 or EMAIL TO
bestfurryfriends@adelphia.net OR CALL 724-627-9988. If you call you might
get an answering system that does seem to take messages so it is best to
call in the afternoon. Contact from the public is very important because
this guy Ronald Morris should not be allowed to get away with this. In
fact, he has 2 more dogs, according to his son , in his basement. The
mange that Chip had was contagious to dogs (and people incidently--2 of us
got it from handling Chip). We are worried about the other dogs too.

Second: if you want to help with Chips's medical bills, make your check
payable to our vet Dr. William Shepperd and send it to P.O. Box 27, Hibbs,
PA 15443. Mark on your memo section tha it is toward Chip's bills.
