I just heard from my sister-in law, who is a vet in Madison Wisc. that some lunatic hunter is trying to add common housecats to small game hunting licenses! They must be found outside of the city limits (NO shooting is allowed within city limits)and have no form of ID on them. Are they going to take them in to see if they're microchiped before they shoot them? And how close must one get to look for ID? Pretty point blank, I would think. Maybe we should ask those "discusting rotten apples in the military"? Certainly there are lots of farm cats up there in the dairy state that I don't imagine the farmers would appreciate having blown away. Unfortunatly I don't have any contacts up there, but do know that the hunting licensing board will be meeting about this on the 11th of this month!
