This was brought to my attention last night, and I have to say, I was so devastated by it. My heart aches for this poor dog. Even right now I can't stop the tears from flowing. I have several family members in the Marines and Airforce, and I know they will come unglued when they see this. The repulsive thought of doing this "for fun" is mind boggling.
The discusting humans involved in this activity should be stripped of their US uniform and should NEVER come in contact with a animal or firearm EVER!!!!
I am personally going to write my Senators, Representatives, and anyone else to see to it that these murderers are dealt with!!!
WARNING!! Video is VERY graphic and has sound

This is a quote from the site:
NOTE: Ogrish.com opposes behavior such as that below. We have provided the US military and animal organisation PETA details regarding the sender of this submission.
I was hoping John would be able to verify this.

Ok, call me a sissy but I'm not going to watch the video. I'm guessing our servicemen abused a dog. I'm sure once John sees this, he can tell us what we can do. I'll help, even though I can't watch. :o
Ok... I opened it, saw the title, and closed it before anything loaded.

Good idea "Too. It's bad, so don't be :o for it. The reason I did was to rule out that it wasn't a pathetic hoax people do all the time on the net. :(

I weep with you, and join in your campaign. But I still wished I hadn't watched. I threw up.

OK.... It's awfull.... I mean, REALLY awfull.... But I'm gonna take the flipside here. I have no idea what it's like to be in a war zone, thinking all the locals wanna kill me... I have no desire to find out I can't imagine what that would do to the mind of a 20 year old kid.... I hold that soldier less responsible for his actions than a civilian in peacetime. Ya wanna lay blame??? Talk to Unocal, Haliburton, The Carslyle Group, The Bush Family & the Royal House of Saud.
Just my opinion

Seeing the video is horrible. It shows a poor, innocent, beautiful dog being shot to death by a military person in Iraq. The act was done, and in their words, "purely for fun", but it is definitely beyond our imagination as Petlovers. I only hope something is done to keep this from happening ever again. :(

My nephews are there, three very close friends of mine are too, and the thought of harming an animal would never enter their mind. Why should anyone else take responsibility for this guy's actions? He did it....he laughed....he boasted it was out of sheer fun to past time. How is anyone else responsible for the action he chose to do? He chose to be in the military, he chose to have his fun shooting an innocent, defenseless animal. Why is he less responsible for his choosings?

Did he Choose to go to the Middle East to defend Haliburton's stock prices? Enron's? Look at the things that were done in Viet Nam. Give a young kid a gun & suspend ALL the normal rules of society... You get stupid young gods. Magnum, I hear what you are saying, I'm disgusted by what I saw too. but... These kids were sent there to kill!!!! Tens of thousands of innocent Iraqi civilians have died in this conflict, how can you expect someone in that enviornment to put a higher value on the life of a dog? If you want to lay blame.... Blame the people who chose the war, not the little pawns who fight it for them.... None of whom, by the way, are the children of those who voted to start the war.... IE. NO ONE in Congress or the US Senate has a child in the feild in Iraq...... Why is that, do you suppose?
