is it ever too late to teach ur tiels to whistle

i have two males and they whistle a bit but not too much cuz i can't really whistle they can do wolf whistle thing and this weird whistling that they repaet they learned on their own but thats it i was wondering if i buy one of those cds that teaches them to whistle will they learn? and how long do i keep it on ?

Tiels catch on pretty fast from repitition and especially the males. I would say yes...they can learn from a recorded whistle/talking or whatever you want. How long would this take? I don't know.....probably depends on the bird.
