Mine is the cockroaches running around backwards and forwards. IF you shoot one you win. You win to answer a bunch of other questions, to answer another bunch of questions, then some more questions and then you have a few more questions to go, and then you have to give your credit card # to at least one of the questions or you don't win the prize. I have to agree with you on the point that some of them are kinda gross.....but I guess it takes alot of money and sponsership to keep something like this site going. At first the cockroaches bothered me because when you see them out of the corner of your eye they look real.....UGH

It's located to the left of the Quick Reply at the bottom of a thread. It doesn't look like a pop-up to me. Maybe my pop-up blocker doesn't stop it. :confused: I have gotten use to not looking there anyway. ;)

Unfortunately there's not much we can do I bet. This site must be getting pretty expensive to keep around because of all the bandwidth it uses, so ads can help. I just ignore them. :o

Ok, I've changed the bottom square advertisement to be a Google text ad box instead of the moving graphical ads. (Google will, from time to time, put a more quiet graphical ad...)

Please keep in mind that the other ads pay just to be shown on the site. The Google ads, however, will only pay us if people click on the links to visit the sites.

I don't want anyone to just 'click' for no reason, but please do not block out the text link ads and read what they have to say; if you find anything interesting, please click the link to check it out and support PetLovers.Com at the same time.

Since only a few members have chosen to purchase our 'Supporting Membership', which to support the site and its costs, we do have to rely on advertising for revenue.

And the fact is: Without revenue, this great site can't exist and as such, if we have no clickers on these text ads, we'll have to go back to the somewhat 'loud' ads that pay per view.
