Here are some pics I just took of Adrian. He is Audrey and Brandy's brother.
Bu and Adrian are out enjoying the sunshine. He is such a mellow fellow.

Adrian is a very handsome kitty and he knows it. He is so fluffy I just want to pick him up and cuddle. Aww. Thanks for sharing. Do you have pics of your other "kids"?

All but Ms. Brandy....lil stinker is hard to catch. I have deleted many, many blurs and rear shots of her as she vaporizes at the site of the camera....lol. I will get her one day though. **wink**

Awe, All the furkids thank you for the compliment.
Magnum looks up (figuratively speaking....lol) to Bu Bair since she is 10 years older than he is and is considered Grandma..... :p They are really good friends, but Bu is good friends with anything I bring home, no matter the species.......lol.

Magnum is 30" at the wither. I think he was about 80 lbs in the pic with Bu, but he is a little over 100 lbs. now. He is solid as a rock and has a great set of wheels under him. He likes to try and beat me on the 4 wheeler...... :p

Magnum,

The pics are great! Adrian's coat looks so shiny and well groomed. Do you brush your cats?

The pic of Kelly and Bu Bair is adorable! I miss my cats so much!!

;) Thanks Jo,

All, but Kelly love to be brushed. Kelly has never cared for it so I am glad she is a short hair..... :D I use a garden glove with the little rubber dots on the palm side for Kelly. She thinks I am just petting and loving her, but she is really getting groomed....hehehehe

So Magnum is a big boy! What kind of personality does he have? He looks so noble. I bet Bu Bair runs the roost too. It always seems like the smallest ones are boss and for good reason.

What kind of food do you feed your dogs? In the winter my poopers' coats seem to get dry and dull. :( Wonder if it is the dry air, food or both. Hmm. Thanks again for sharing!

Sorry Molly for not replying sooner.. :o

Magnum eats California Natural...2 oz. of Glucosamine/Chondroitin...and Omega 3 daily. Bu Bair eats Innova Senior...It already contains the Glucosamine and Chondroitin needed in her diet....I add Omega 3 to her diet daily. Omega 3 really helps with the dry skin in the winter. I get it at Walmart in the gels. The dry air is a big factor with their coat and skin, but their diet is just as problematic if it does not contain the necessary nutrients.

Gonna try to explain his personality:

Magnum is a happy fellow. He loves to cuddle, play, and is very tuned into what ever mood I am in. He doesn't have a self-centered bone in his body and tries to please us in every way. He is the first Dobe I have shared my life with, so I am unsure if this is typical of the breed. He is extremely protective and does not miss a thing. He doesn't bark to warn a suspect, but watches them intently. We have neighboring farmers who come over to borrow farm equipment from time to time and he just watches them pull into the drive, then will look at me or hubby to determine what our reaction is. If we look like we know them or were expecting them he turns into a 100 lb. pup and runs around happy dappy. If we don't known them or expected them, he will stay right with us and watch them like a hawk, very still and quiet. I don't even think he blinks.....lol. He loves kids and is so patient and kind to them. He is careful not to bump them or excite them. He will never give his toys to an adult (except hubby and I), but he will give them to kids. He loves to play frisbee and will drop the frisbee in front of them, take a few steps back and will sit and wait until they toss it for him to catch. He is our #1 son and is so good to Bu Bair. Anyway, I could go on and on, but I have probably blabbed enough about him..........lol

Awwww Georgia....Magnum sounds so sweet. My best friend had 2 Dobies in her life and I'm pretty sure one of them got cancer and one I think just passed away from old age. She was heart broke. She made them graves then went to the concrete ornament place and got a beautifull statue of a Dobie and placed him at their heads. What a beautifull tribute!

A very good friend of mine had a Dobe mix that got cancer. Excalibur was so stoic about it right up to his last few days. He is at rest in our back yard now with a White Dogwood next to his grave. I have to admit that was the biggest pet funeral I have ever attended. There were people coming in the whole day to pay their respects, and not a dry eye amongst any of them. I lost count of the # of toys, pictures and other various momentos that were placed in his grave, and they were toys from their own pets that used to play with him. Excalibur was originally from a highly abused home, but my friend was able to get him from these people when he was about a year old. All the people in town knew Ex and abviously loved him dearly. He passed at the age of 11.
