We are fairly new to breeding lovebirds but just got 2 pairs of proven lovebirds that have produced a number of clutchs. They are in 2 seperate cages with 2 breeding boxes each. We were wondering how long it would take for they to get comfortable and start breeding? They are on a balanced diet.
Also is it good to handle them if we want them to breed aka.. bathing them, letting them roam the house, petting. ect... or should we leave them be for a while.
all 4 are hand trained.
