Ok guys you asked for pictures of the new puppy I just rescued. So since I did post a couple on the actual thread I thought I would put together a little album of all my dogs. So I hope this works. I've never ever done anything like this. Let me know what you think.

Thanks ....I guess because the four boys are foster kids I have to keep my house clean. You never know when the state is gonna say we're coming to visit. They are pretty sneaky sometimes and will just pop in to say hello.

Thanks for pointing me to this thread princessnmi! I loved seeing pics of all the animals. Especially liked little pippy and the pic of the two dogs & bird sharing a kiss is just great. My compliments on your spotless home.

Thanks you guys....being a stay at home mom to the four boys and the four dogs and the two birds takes up most of my time. However I do get a lot of help from my husband when he is home. The kids are all under the age of 3 and take about a 3 hour nap which really helps me. Also the whole upstairs of our home is kid proofed and set up as a play room so most of their toys are kept up their. There are a couple that get thrown over the baby gate and come flying down the stairs but the boys are pretty good about picking up their toys and puttin them in the toy boxes. So most of the mess is upstairs where i don't take a lot of pictures ;) I am known by a lot of people as a shopaholic and everyone that comes over can't believe the amount of toys my kids have...not to mention the number of bones, and dog toys laying all over the living room. But even Robin will put her toys in the storage tub we have for dog toys. My 2 yr old even helps with the chores. He has even left his toys to help empty the dishwasher or take a load of clothes out of the dryer. Its a lot of fun.

It just occurred to me that you were supposed to be fostering a little girl - you mentioned she was coming sometime over the Christmas Holiday. So are you fostering a little girl baby now also? Sorry if you posted the answer to this elsewhere and I missed it. How did you make out meeting your family for Christmas?

No we ended up not getting the little girl. Our Christmas was great. We met my mom in El Paso and had a wonderful time. There was snow on the ground. It was wonderful. I haven't made mention of this yet but we are moving :( So I am losing all my boys also. My husband is in the Air Force and we are getting transferred to Tucson Arizona. Which is good in a way but I don't want to lose my boys. 2 of the boys (my 2 very first foster kids) are leaving on Friday. Its going to be so hard to see them go but they are getting adopted. So they will be out of the foster care system so that is good. The little boy who we REALLY want to adopt is still with us. We are going to keep him and his 2 month old brother until we leave. We were hoping to get termination of parental rights by then however the biological mother was in a serious car accident over Christmas and has to have a total hip replacement as well as learning how to walk all over again. The dad of the 2 month old wants the baby so he will probably go live with his biological dad. We just found out that the baby is deaf. We are trying to convince the bio mother to willing give up Richard (the 2 yr old) and we would do an open adoption so she could still see him. We are hoping that she will relize that she won't be able to handle Richards medical needs (he has a lot of vision problems) as well as the baby's medical needs as well as her own medical needs. So hopefully she will give Richard up and work towards getting the baby back since she is still with the baby's dad. Keep your fingers crossed for us. We are scheduled to leave on Feb 14th, however they have been screwing up a lot of my husbands paper work which could make us stay in texas longer. I'm hoping that them screwing up the paper work is a sign that we need to stay here a little longer for Richards sake. Who knows.

Well, we are moving the end of February. The caseworkers that I have been dealing with promised me that if Richard goes up for adoption I will get him. So I'm not losing hope yet. I did do an emergency placement for a baby GIRL today. She is 4 days old. Such a tiny little thing. So as of today I have 4 boys and a little girl. Their ages are 4 days, 2 months, 19 months, 2 yrs, and 2 1/2 yrs. My 2 1/2 yr old and 19 month old are getting adopted tomorrow. I am sad to see them go but glad that they are going to a permanent home. Their new parents have asked us to continue to be a part of their lives. Well, I will keep you all posted on whats happening.

Princessnmi.... I could not help but smile when you were talking about the 2 year old helping with laundry and dishwasher etc.... Our daughter has 7 kids and their ages are 17, 10, 9,7,5,3 & 1. whew.....The 17 year old is a step daughter but she has had her sinse she was 3 so Terri is all she has ever known as "mommy" They all have chores and really do them quite well. They get to help with baking cookies, cakes etc... They are in scouts, 4H, baseball, basketball makes me tired just thinking of it. They have birds, hermit crabs, and a puppy.
I will have you in my prayers that things turn out with the little boy you are wanting to adopt, you sound like a really loving mother. Awww a little baby girl 4 days old WOW....I bet she is darling.
I wish you the best of everything and I really hope your prayers get answered. :)

Hi Princessnmi. I am also sorry to hear about your boys. That is great that the adopting parents want you to be a part of their lives. It is all very special. I am sending prayers your way that you will be able to adopt your little boy. You sound like you certainly have your hands full. I cannot even imagine! God bless you and your family. I am hoping that your move will be a smooth transition. Please keep us posted. I know that the objective of being a foster parent is to reunite the children with their birth parents but I think that some birth parents hang on for all the wrong reasons and the ones that suffer are the children. Kudos to you for all that you are doing!:)
