I was wondering if anyone has any good recipes for dog goodies. My lab mix Robin will be 2 pretty soon and I had a recipe for "dog safe" cake that I made for her on her first birthday. But the recipe must have gotten lost in the move since I can't find it anywhere to save my life. I just want to make something special for her. Anything will help. Thanks :D

Simple one: 1 cup oatmeal and 1 cup smooth peanut butter. Mix together. Form into cocktail wienie fingers and freeze. Serve Frozen.

I'm going to have to try this. My dog is allergic to beef and most of the treat have beef in them.

I got this out of a pet recipe book. :p
Here is a cake recipe: Makes 8 inch round cake (18-24 wedges)
You will need:
3 & a half of whole wheat flower
2 & a fourth cups of rolled oats
3 tablespoons of brown sugar
2 cups of water
3 tablespoons of cooking oil
1 fourth of a cup of cup carob chips

Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Spray 8in. round baking pan with non-stick cooking spray.
Mix flower and oats in a large mixing bowl. In a medium saucepan, brown sugar, water, oil and carob chips together. Heat over low heat until chips are melted. Add to flower mixture; mix well. Spoon mixture into prepared pan. Bake 1 and a half hours or until firm to the touch. Remove pan from oven and cut into small wedges to serve. Store in an airtight container or plastic bag and place in refridgerator or freezer.

I also have recipes for chocolate (dog-safe of course), cat cassorole, and chicken delight (my dogs loved this one!) ;)
