There is a rabbit that keeps coming back to our yard. Every time we go out there, he's there. I think he is a wild rabbit and not a stray. We built a little hut for him out of tires and put some carrots and celery in it. Any advice will help!??!

What kind of advice are you looking for?
He's hardly dangerous - rabbits are extremely shy and skittish, and will run away from humans a good 90% of the time... the only time he'd stick around is if he's tamed or if there are little rabbits in the area. What you're doing is fine... feel free to investigate his friendliness, although understand that you do so at your own risk - if babies are around, he won't hesitate to defend the nest.
If you'd like to get him out of the area, talk to your local animal shelter or animal protection group... they'll usually be more than happy to lend you a small humane trap that you can then use to relocate the little guy.

Thank You, but I was kind of looking for info on what to feed it. Where to look for a nest. I want to make it feel at home because it's really cold here and its probably freezing.

Ah. Food is pretty much what you've been giving it - veggies, fruits, things of that nature.
Rabbits like to burrow, so give it something that simulates a dark hole.
Hope that helps. ^^

One way you can tell if it is someones lost or abandoned pet bunny is if it looks like a wild rabbit. If it is the normal gray/brownish color its wild if it isn't and has spots or lop ears or something like that it is a pet someone either let loose or somehow lost. If you can pet it or walk close to it was probably tame at one time. You should try to catch it if you can if it seems to have been a pet, if it's not a wild rabbit it can't survive on its own like many people think. If it is a wild bunny it will be fine, you don't have to feed it or provide it with shelter as wild bunnies grow thick coats, have burrows to sleep in are are capable of finding food, but there definatly is no problem with feeding it or providing it with shelter, but it is more likely to stick around. I don't know if I helped or not. Does it seem to be wild?

If you have a garden, he will be a nuisance. Otherwise just enjoy observing him. Other than planting bushes for ground cover from predators, he probably doesn't need much. If it's his territory he probably knows where the food is.
I strongly urge to refrain the temptation of feeding him, because he is a wild animal and can become a prey if he lets his guard down.

Thanks. The bunny left now. It has gotten a little warmer and I haven't seen him for a while. :)
